Svenska Handelsfastigheter acquires Bromma Blocks

Wigge has advised Svenska Handelsfastigheter, a leading retail property owner in Sweden, on the acquisition and financing of Bromma Blocks. The seller is CBREGI Swedish Retail Ventures AB and the transaction is based on a net property value of MSEK 1,170. The acquisition comprises five properties with a total lettable area o around 57,500 sq m and a building righ of approximately 50,000 sq m gross area (BTA). Coop, City Gross, Elgiganten, XXL, Jula and Rusta are among the larger tenants. The transaction is financed through equity and external loan from Nordea.

Bromma Blocks is one of the leading retail areas in Stockholm with around 70 tenants  covering a broad spectrum of the retail business. Food and other everyday commodities stand for about 50 per cent of Bromma Block’s total turnover, which during 2023 amounted to approx.. SEK 2.1 billion. The total rental income amounts to MSEK 210.3 with a net operating income of MSEK 131.6.
