Wigge together with the XO Foundation supports our future entrepreneurs. At Wigge, we believe in long-term relationships and long-term evolvement of our clients and our staff. Therefore, we have chosen to support our future entrepreneurs together with XO Foundation as a pro bono project.

The future starts today. The startup of today can be the unicorn of tomorrow. However, not everybody can enjoy the same conditions to establish a business or to find the necessary funding to transition from idea to action. Being an entrepreneur is not always easy. In order to promote and support the companies of our future generations, Wigge have entered into a cooperation, pro bono, with the XO Foundation to show that it is possible to create your own future, regardless of where you come from and to build bridges between different worlds.

The XO Foundation is part of the Econ. Dr. Peter Wallenberg Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Business (ekon. dr Peter Wallenbergs Stiftelse för Entreprenörskap & Affärsmannaskap). XO was founded by Conni Jonsson, Claes Dahlbäck, Sara Wimmercranz and Susanne Najafi. Together with Sara and Susanne from Backing Minds, the XO Foundation was created in order to be able to reach out to a wider network of future talent.

XO wants to challenge the norms about who is a talent and where it can be found, in particular in the field of entrepreneurship. Every year the XO Foundation provides a number of financial scholarships to support young entrepreneurs who want to develop a particular business idea.

Wigge supports the foundation’s scholarship holders for at least one year. Together with partners and younger lawyers, we hold lectures and seminars regarding basic business law issues, and we help the scholars to navigate legal implications and challenges in a startup.

Our pro bono activities are an integrated part of our commitment to contribute to a better and more sustainable world, in particular Goal 10 (to reduce inequality within and among countries) in the 2030 Agenda of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
