Altor-owned Network of Design has acquired the iconic design brand Kasthall, producing quality rugs for clients worldwide. Kasthall joins NOD along with design icons such as String Furniture and Grythyttan Stålmöbler.
Kasthall’s products are distributed internationally in more than twenty markets, with +350 dealers worldwide, and showrooms in Sweden, Italy, USA, and Japan. Kasthall employs 80 people and had a turnover just below 200m SEK in 2022. Kasthall was established in the heart of Sweden’s textile industry in Kinna 1889 and has been at the forefront of the interior design industry ever since. Clients have turned to Kasthall for over 130 years to bring woven and hand-tufted rugs into their lives. Always created upon order with natural materials, wool, and linen, to ensure the perfect fit and that no materials are wasted.
Since 2020, NOD has gathered nine brands to create beautiful rooms around the world: String Furniture, Byarums Bruk, Photowall, Cooee Design, Kid’s Concept, Grythyttan Stålmöbler, Kasthall, Wall of Art and Norling Studio.
