Silvestica aqcuires 40 000 hectares of forest land in northern Sweden

Silvestica Green Forest has acquired 40 000 hectares of forest land from Norra Skogen in an off-market transaction. The acquisition is part of Silvestica’s ambition to increase its land ownership in Sweden. The newly acquired land is located in Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland and Jämtland.

Silvestica is a long-term forestry fund founded by SEB, Hesselmanska Stiftelse and CRK, that manages and improves its forest ownership in a responsible and sustainable manner. Silvestica now owns approximately 110 000 hectares of forest divided across five European countries.

Wigge & Partners has advised Silvestica on the transaction. Our team consisted of Daniel Unger (Real Estate) and Frida Sander (Funds and Investments).
